A collection of large contemporary works by quebec artist Dominique Normand, of malecite descent. The painter celebrates the true spirit of the north. The native communities she visits in her frequent travels in the North inspire her work. She paints, sketches, documents her experience in large paintings and short films. She aims to share the beauty and wisdom of the first nation people, impressed by their unique ways of understanding the notion of connectiveness between all things alive and how it permeates their daily lives and traditions. Her work is available in galleries in Tremblant, and Montreal, Quebec.
